Our Approach

We assess the damage and surrounding wall before deciding how to repair it. Nearby surfaces are protected, suitable backing or replacement drywall installed where needed, compound applied in stages, and the repair sanded and prepared for primer and paint. Existing texture and aged paint cannot always be matched exactly; repainting a whole wall may provide a more consistent appearance. Active moisture sources must be resolved first. Suspected asbestos and extensive mould remediation are outside routine drywall repair work.

FAQ

What happens after plumbing work? Do you repair the drywall?

Yes. Once plumbing is complete and the area is dry, we patch the access hole, apply compound, sand and prepare for primer and paint.

Will the patch be invisible?

We aim for a seamless result, but existing texture and aged paint cannot always be matched exactly. Repainting the wall or a larger section may give a more consistent appearance.

What about water-damaged or mouldy drywall?

Water-damaged drywall must wait until the moisture source is fully resolved. Suspected asbestos and extensive mould remediation are outside routine drywall repair work.
